I have placed orders with this merchant before and was very happy with items and fast delivery. However, this time I was puzzled by not as satisfactory service. It started with FedEx delivery notice and sadly I didn’t receive the item although status was “delivered”. I witnessed more understanding by Fedex than Tilly’s where the rep forgot to call me back as she promised. My written notice to the merchant never got honored with an answer. Three weeks later after placing the order I received a UPS package with the item… shipped a day after I placed the order. What a mystery!

I am a tall woman (5′8″), and woman’s jeans never fit right. However, I have worn men’s Levi 501 button-fly for many years. They are the ONLY jeans that ALWAYS fit the same. They are long enough between crotch and waist, so you never feel uncomfortable. They look fantastic, but are as comfortable as your favorite jogging pants. No matter how tall or short you are, these are the best jeans you can buy; they last forever, and look and feel great from day one for years to come.

Though was in doubt after reading some reviews, still bought my usual dockers and jeans size 31×30, iconic rigid color. Shipping was amazingly fast, size is perfect, color is great. Washed in cold water several times, size is still perfect, no shrinkage. One thing I didn’t expect was that cloth/cotton is rather thin (light to mid weight) more like for warmer weather but it’s more about product description – it would be nice to have cotton weight provided in description for all jeans not just these. Anyway, it’s a good buy.

These 501 jeans are really the only model of jeans that I have ever found that fit me, but the quality of them has certainly changed in the past year or so. This is the 3rd pair that I have bought from different places over the past few months. One made in Egypt, one made in Dominican Republic and this pair made in Mexico. They all have a very strange problem in common. The belt loop next to the label on the waist band has come apart on all 3 pair. This has happened on either the first or second wash. It is not like I am wearing them hard. I am not really putting any stress on them as they are loose on me and the belt is not pulling at the belt loop like I was bending and really working in them. It is very disappointing to have this happen to all of my new pairs when I have some pairs that are 6~10 years old that are in better shape than the brand new ones. Levis certainly lost their quality when they moved their production off shore. This is probably the last pair of their jeans that I will ever buy. I certainly hate to say that since I have been wearing this model since I was in elementary school. I have worked on my family’s farm in them and put them through their paces in past years and they held up to my abuse and now they won’t even stand up to a wash on the gentle cycle. I am very disappointed in this purchase.
